10Bet first to benefit from SBTech mobile and live betting upgrade

SBTech has continued to develop its sports betting software products with a new mobile casino added to its HTML5 app, while the company’s live betting platform has been further optimized for retail outlets.

The company said that its “next generation” of mobile and live betting products would provide new features to its customers, with UK-licensed operator 10Bet the first to benefit from the upgrade.

SBTech chief executive Itai Zak said: “Everyone here at SBTech is excited to roll out the results of our hard work in the further development of our already impressive live betting and mobile products.”

The updated mobile application features a wider variety of sports and bet types, with over 10,000 live betting events available. The product has been further enhanced through the addition of a casino, featuring software from providers including Microgaming, accessible through a single login with customers able to play using their sportsbook balance.

SBTech described the updated live betting platform as offering a more intuitive interface, alongside a wider range of betting markets for football, tennis and US sports. The solution also provides touchscreen support, allowing it to be rolled out on terminals in betting shops, as the company looks to increase its land-based business.

“With technology progressing so fast, we’re determined to show our clients and their members that we can keep pace and maintain our position ahead of the pack and we’re positive this next generation of products will do exactly that,” Zak added.

Both products are to launch first with bookmaker 10Bet, before being rolled out to SBTech’s other licensees which include the likes of Danish-facing sportsbook MermaidBet and Malta licensee ComeOn.

10Bet head of player affairs Daniel Caswell said his company was “very excited” to launch the new products, adding that he was impressed by SBTech launching “constant product improvements and innovations”.

“Since we launched our mobile application earlier this year we’ve had great feedback from our punters,” Caswell explained. “Mobile today accounts for a significant portion of our business and plays a major role in our strategy.”
